From 4 December to 17 January, be transported to a world of wonderment, as Roma Street Parkland lights up with more than 40,000 fairy lights for the annual Enchanted Garden lighting display.
From hanging crystal curtains to neon butterflies and laser gardens, The Enchanted Garden treats visitors to an evening walk unlike any other, bordered by towering trees and lush foliage, lit with the warm glow of mesmerising lights.
Once again, Celebration Lawn will offer an area of respite and refuelling, with a number of premium food truck eats available from 5pm daily. Or, indulge in Roma Street Parkland’s celebrated culinary offering – The Garden Room Café, serving specialty bites into the evening.
Please note that the plants are delicate at Roma Street Parkland, so visitors are asked to keep to the paths and refrain from touching the display while enjoying the event.
Opening hours and sessions
This year’s newly extended program will ensure ample time to meander the Parkland’s twinkling tracks, with four 45- minute sessions taking place each night. The Enchanted Garden will not run on Mondays and Tuesdays, with the exception of 21 and 22 December, when the event will take place. In addition, the event will not operate over the Christmas and New Year period, 24 – 26 December and 31 December.
Session times are as follows:
6.30- 7.15pm
7.15- 8.00pm
8.00- 8.45pm
8.45- 9.30pm
The Celebration Lawn Precinct and food trucks will open from 5.00pm daily.
To ensure public safety, several COVID-Safe measures will be in place during the night, including a mandatory, free pre-registration process. To secure a ticket for you and up to four guests, please register via the below button and follow the prompts.
It is essential that each attendee complete their own registration with their details for COVID tracing purposes. If you are bringing children, please list each of them as an individual guest. Please note that tickets will not be available at the event and that due to crowd management measures, unfortunately dogs are unable to attend this year.
Contact information will be kept for all persons for contact tracing purposes, including name, email address, mobile phone number and date/time of patronage for a period of at least 56 days.
