Kangaroo Point is home to the largest number of holiday and residential towers in Brisbane, and it’s no surprise given the area’s close proximity to the CBD and easy access to the highways leading to both the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast.
If you are planning a stay in Brisbane, whether it’s for work or pleasure, there is no better location than Kangaroo Point.
Kangaroo Point Accommodation
Kangaroo Point is well known as one of the most popular areas to stay in Brisbane.
The area features a huge range of accommodation from five star hotels through to budget and backpacker accommodation.
Basing yourself in Kangaroo Point keeps you close to all the action. The CBD is just a ferry ride across the river, or a leasurly walk across the Story Bridge and around the boardwalk. Also within walking distance is Brisbane’s best nightlife in the Valley.

We’ve recently had a great review of the bridge climb added to the site which you can read here.

Kangaroo Point Business
We will be adding many more businesses to our directory shortly, but the first Kangaroo Point business supporter we would like to identify is Builders Insurance.
These guys provide expert insurance service to all builders in Kangaroo Point and throughout Brisbane and Australia, and we highly recommend them.
Another favourite business of ours is kids beds. These guys are actually located south of Kangaroo Point, but they do service the area and will deliver their amazing kids furniture to all areas of Kangaroo Point.
I have spent some great time there, too. You post returned me to this awesome road-trip that me and my girlfriend had back in 2011. Keep up the good work John, looking forward to your new posts.
Your road-trip was awesome, too. I have heard some stories on how you swim with dolphins. Sea was warm, sand was there – heaven on Earth.
Just a quick note on this road-trip diary – beaches that we visited where completely abandoned and wild.
There was no water so we could’t make any shower. We have to wait for return home.
Beside that, we had really really good time here and I wish that one day you visit this magic place, too.
I couldn’t agree more with you John! Thanks for sharing this brilliant article!
You are welcome Lisa, really appreciate it.
